Paste one entry per line, optionally written as label | content, or drop a CSV and choose which column holds the content and which the label. The tool builds up to 500 codes in one run, in small batches so the page stays responsive, with a progress bar and a Cancel button. Entries that cannot fit are reported by row, for example Row 14: 2,412 bytes — over the limit at level Q, while the rest carry on. Set the error-correction level, quiet zone, colors, module shape, PNG size and file-name pattern, then download a ZIP with every image plus a manifest.csv that maps each file to its content, or print a sheet with captions. Everything runs in your browser and your list is not uploaded.
Features
Paste a list or load a CSV, with header detection and a column picker for content and label
Up to 500 codes per run, built in small batches with a progress bar and a Cancel button
Entries that are too long are reported by row number while the others finish
PNG at 256 to 2048 px, SVG, or both in the same ZIP
File-name pattern with {n}, {label} and {text}; names are made safe and unique
manifest.csv lists every file with its content, written so a spreadsheet never runs it as a formula
Print sheet with two to six columns and a caption under each code
Colors, module shape and error correction, with a warning when long entries make codes too dense
How to use the Bulk QR Code Generator
Paste the list, one entry per line or as label | content, or switch to CSV and drop the file
For a CSV, confirm the header row and choose the content column and an optional label column
Set error correction, PNG size, colors and the file-name pattern, and check the preview of the first twelve
Press Generate and watch the progress bar
Download the ZIP, or print the sheet
Example
Input
label,url
Front desk,https://example.com/hello
Room 12,https://example.com/rooms/12
Cafe,https://example.com/cafe
File names come from the pattern qr-{n}-{label}; manifest.csv maps every file back to its content.
Common errors & troubleshooting
Some rows are skipped with an over-the-limit message. — One code holds roughly 1,273 to 2,953 bytes depending on the level, and lower levels hold more. Shorten those entries, or choose L or M for the longest ones.
The CSV appears as a single column. — The delimiter was not recognised. Pick comma, semicolon, tab or pipe in the delimiter selector; spreadsheets set to European formats usually export with semicolons.
Accented or non-Latin characters look garbled. — Save the CSV as UTF-8 (in Excel, choose CSV UTF-8). Older Windows exports are detected and converted, but UTF-8 is the safest.
The small PNGs are hard to scan. — Long entries make dense codes. The note under the options warns when modules fall below about 4 px at the chosen size; pick a larger PNG size or shorten the entries.
Frequently asked questions
How many QR codes can the Bulk QR Code Generator make in one run?
Up to 500. Above 200 entries it warns that the run and the print sheet take longer. Codes are built in small batches so the page stays usable, and you can cancel at any point.
What CSV layout does the bulk QR code generator expect?
Any CSV or TSV with one entry per row. It detects the delimiter and a header row, then lets you choose the content column and an optional label column. Quoted cells, commas and line breaks inside quotes are handled.
How are the QR code files named inside the ZIP?
From a pattern you control with {n}, {label} and {text}; the default is qr-{n}-{label}. Unsafe characters are removed, names stay within 60 characters, and repeats are numbered so no file overwrites another.
Can I print a sheet of QR code labels from a list?
Yes. The print sheet arranges the codes in two to six columns with a caption under each, the label or else the content. It opens your browser's print dialog, where you can print on label paper or save a PDF.
Should a print shop get the bulk QR codes as PNG or SVG?
SVG is usually preferred because it is vector and stays sharp at any size. PNG suits slides, web pages and quick proofs. You can include both formats in one ZIP.
What happens to bulk QR entries that are too long or repeated?
An entry that cannot fit is listed by row with its byte count and the limit, and is skipped while the rest are built. Repeated content can be kept or skipped with a single option.
