The Fake Text Message Generator lays out a two-person conversation the way a phone would and saves it as a picture. Add messages one at a time, flip each between sent and received, set its time and a delivered or read mark, and drag the order with the arrows. Three generic looks are drawn from shapes and colours rather than copied artwork: an iPhone-style thread with time headings and a delivery caption, an Android-style thread with captions under each run, and a WhatsApp-style thread with the time and ticks inside the bubble. Text is wrapped with your device's own fonts, so the bubbles fit their words exactly, and the picture grows taller to hold a long chat. It is meant for mockups, tutorials, stories and jokes, and everything is drawn locally.

Common errors & troubleshooting
A message is missing from the picture. — Messages with no text are skipped. Type something into the message, or delete the empty one.
The oldest messages are cut off at the top. — Turn on Fit every message so the picture grows taller, or keep the fixed screen and remove older messages.
The iPhone-style look does not show a time heading for a message. — That look only adds a heading when ten or more minutes have passed since the previous heading, so close-together messages share one.
The Copy image button is not shown. — Some browsers do not let a page write images to the clipboard. Use Download PNG instead.
Frequently asked questions
What can I use the Fake Text Message Generator for?
It suits tutorials, app and product mockups, storyboards, social posts, classroom examples and jokes between friends. Please do not use it to impersonate a real person or to deceive anyone about what was actually said.
Are the iPhone, Android and WhatsApp styles the real apps?
No. They are generic look-alikes built from plain shapes, colours and your device's fonts. No logos, icons or other trademarked artwork are used, so the pictures read as mockups rather than genuine screenshots.
Why does the fake chat PNG look sharper at 2x?
The picture is drawn at 390 layout pixels wide and multiplied by the size you choose. Two times gives 780 pixels across, which stays crisp on high-density screens and in slides, and three times gives 1170.
How does the fake chat maker decide where lines break?
It measures each word with the same fonts the picture is painted with and fills each line up to the maximum bubble width. Explicit line breaks are kept, and a single very long word is split between characters so it never overflows.
Are my fake conversations stored or sent anywhere?
The messages stay in this page's memory and are drawn on your device. Only the look settings, such as style, theme and picture size, are remembered in your browser so they are there next time.
