Common errors & troubleshooting
The archive is much larger than the original PDF. — Images are the usual cause — rasterising throws away the compact vector description. Choose the PDF option, or drop the resolution.
The download did not start. — Very large archives take a moment to assemble in memory. Wait for the button to report the file count and size, then press it.
Only some pages are in the archive. — Image output covers the first 200 pages. Split the document into halves first if it is longer than that.
The ZIP is bigger than the sum of its parts suggests. — The archive stores its entries without extra compression so it opens instantly everywhere, and PDFs and JPGs are already compressed — re-compressing them would gain almost nothing.
