About Aim Trainer

This Aim Trainer gives you three quick drills on a canvas that scales to the page. Gridshot keeps three targets live on a nine-slot grid and replaces each one as soon as you hit it. Flick shows one target at a time at random positions and sizes, always a good distance from the last, so every shot needs a real flick. Tracking sends a target gliding around the field and scores the share of time your cursor stays on it. Choose 30 or 60 seconds and large, medium or small targets, then a three-second countdown starts the clock. Each round reports score, accuracy, hits, misses, average and fastest time to hit and targets per second, and keeps your best for every setup in this browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Features

  • Gridshot with three live targets on a 3 by 3 grid that never spawn on top of each other
  • Flick mode with random positions and sizes, kept well away from the previous target
  • Tracking mode that scores the percentage of time the cursor is on a moving target
  • Large, medium and small target sizes, with faster tracking targets on the smaller sizes
  • 30 or 60 second rounds after a three-second countdown
  • Score, accuracy, hits, misses, average and fastest time to hit, and targets per second
  • Personal best saved per mode, length and size in this browser only
  • Esc and leaving the tab pause the round, with an optional sound effect toggle and touch support

How to use the Aim Trainer

  1. Pick a mode, round length and target size
  2. Press Start and wait out the three-second countdown
  3. Click targets as they appear, or keep the cursor on the moving target in Tracking mode
  4. Review your score, accuracy and times, then play again to beat your best

Example

Input

Mode: Gridshot, 30 s, medium targets
Clicks: 52 on target, 8 on empty space

Output

Score: 6,470
Accuracy: 86.7% (52 of 60 clicks)
Avg time to hit: 512 ms · fastest 288 ms · 1.73 targets/sec

Each hit scores 100 plus up to 50 for speed; misses lower accuracy but cost no points.

Common errors & troubleshooting

  • The round paused by itself. — The trainer pauses when the window loses focus, the tab is hidden or you press Esc. Click Resume and a short countdown returns before the clock moves again.
  • Scores are lower on a small laptop screen than on a desktop monitor. — The field scales with the page width, so a narrower window means targets are physically smaller and closer together. Compare results only on the same screen size and mouse sensitivity.
  • Tracking shows 0% on target although the cursor is on the circle. — The cursor position is only known once the pointer has moved over the field. Move the mouse after the countdown; on a touchscreen, keep a finger down and drag.
  • Clicks near the target edge count as misses. — Only a click inside the circle counts. Choose larger targets while warming up, or slow down slightly to trade speed for accuracy.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Gridshot, Flick and Tracking in this aim trainer?
Gridshot trains speed and target switching with three live targets in fixed slots. Flick trains a single precise snap to a random target of varying size. Tracking trains smooth control by scoring how much of the round your cursor spends on a moving target.
How is the aim trainer score calculated?
In Gridshot and Flick every hit is 100 points plus a speed bonus of up to 50 that fades to zero after one second. In Tracking the score is your on-target percentage times ten, so a perfect round is 1000. Misses do not subtract points, they only reduce accuracy.
What does time to hit measure?
It is the time from a target appearing to the click that hits it, measured between display frames. In Gridshot three targets are visible at once, so it includes how long you took to pick and reach that target, not just raw reaction time.
Why does the aim trainer ask me to keep my sensitivity the same?
Scores depend on your mouse DPI, in-game or system sensitivity and screen size. Changing any of them changes how far the cursor travels per movement, so a higher score may just reflect a different setup rather than better aim.
Can I play the aim trainer on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Taps register as clicks in Gridshot and Flick, and in Tracking you drag a finger so the touch point stays on the target. A mouse will normally give more precise results than a touchscreen.
Where are my aim trainer best scores kept?
Your personal best for each mode, length and size is stored in this browser only, so it survives a reload on the same device. Nothing is shared or ranked, and you can clear all saved bests from the page.
