About Add Watermark to Video
Add Watermark to Video stamps a text label or a logo onto your footage right in your browser — no uploading and no waiting on a server. Type any text, from a copyright line to a channel name, and it is drawn as clean semi-bold white lettering with a soft shadow so it stays readable over bright or busy scenes; or drop in a logo image, and a transparent PNG sits neatly on top. Choose one of five placements — any corner or dead center — and dial the opacity up or down so the mark is bold or barely-there. The original audio is carried through untouched, and the result exports as a widely compatible MP4. Your video is read from your device and watermarked locally, so the file never leaves your computer. Ideal for branding clips, protecting footage before sharing, or adding a caption or credit.

Common errors & troubleshooting
- The watermark is hard to read on a bright scene. — Increase the opacity, bump up the text size, or move it to a corner with a darker background. The text is drawn white with a soft shadow to help it stand out.
- A logo has a white or solid box around it. — Use a PNG with a transparent background. Formats without transparency will show their background colour behind the logo.
- The watermark looks too big or too small. — For text, adjust the text-size slider before adding it. For a logo, resize the image file first — the logo is overlaid at its own pixel size.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I add a watermark to a video in my browser?
- Drop your video into Add Watermark to Video, choose Text and type a label or choose Logo and pick an image, set the position and opacity, then click Add watermark. The video is stamped on your own device and downloads as an MP4.
- Can I use my own logo as the watermark?
- Yes. Switch to Logo mode and choose an image; a PNG with a transparent background works best so only the logo shows over your footage.
- Can I control where the watermark appears?
- Yes. You can place the watermark in any corner or in the center of the frame, and set its opacity so it is bold or subtle.
- Does adding a watermark remove the video's sound?
- No. The original audio is copied through unchanged — only the picture is re-encoded to add the watermark.
- Can I add a copyright or text label instead of a logo?
- Yes. In Text mode you can type any label, such as a copyright line or channel name, and adjust its size before stamping it onto the video.
- Is my video uploaded when I watermark it?
- No. Add Watermark to Video runs entirely in your browser. Your video and logo are read on your own device and are never sent to ArrayKit or any server.
